If they are in hell... than who the hell is in heaven? What set of rules are being followed here? _________________ A cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his fleshand drink his blood; while telepathically tell him you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

Only the very pure get to heaven... which amounts to about a dozen people, plus or minus two... |

By definition there were no christians before christ, by obseration none since- me.
Therefore, only those allowed by the OT are in heaven, which if I remember correctly doesn't even have one. So its god and jesus. Big whoop. _________________ Its not that I question so much whether a god created man, but that he would admit it.- Thomas Brumfield

The reality is: The majority of Christians are, because they have never read the Bible, whereas the majority of Atheists are, because they have. tjb |

Ive heard a lot christians tell me I could go to heaven if I only repent.
which makes me think how many assholes repented before they died.
which leads me to believe that heaven is going to be full of drug addicts & child molesters.
Hell is looking a lot better plus you don't die so its just like one big video game in hell.
we kill one another then we respawn and kill the guy that killed you while he is tea bagging your corpse. |

Let's not and say we did. Sorry...I'm tired of pretending. |
Making an assumption for the sake of argument can be a useful thing to do once in a while.
For instance, assuming the basics of the Christian paradigm...
God has a severe inferiority complex.
Seriously, he does, assuming the Christian paradigm.
What can God use as a measure to determine if he is good enough, wise enough, etc.? Nothing. He's at the top, there is no greater, so he has no way to measure himself.
That's why he relies so heavily on the faith of others to bolster his own self esteem.
Not only that, he prefers blind faith to knowing faith.
That's also why he's so obsessed with testing his followers in the manner of Job or Abraham (sacrificing Issac).
It even extends to the angelic revolt when he ordered Lucifer to lead the revolt, to see how many of the other angels would follow God or Lucifer (yet another test), and then confined Lucifer to hell with the rest of the devils (this time testing Lucifer).
It also explains why the Old Testament depicts a mercurial vengeful God. What a pitiful God is found in Abraham's God.
All that, assuming the Christian paradigm. _________________ Nos laetus edo qui votum opprimo nobis.

I agree and you do have a point with the rest of your post, but once you get past the redundancy of the what if's and the maybe's ....it all goes back to the same questions and the same answer. It's like having a series of rotating questions, but the answer never changes and everything only ends in circles. When you bypass the idea of god, you realize that life is much more complex and interesting than anything limited by some ancient fairy tale.
If we're going to make assumptions, let's start with a more plausible, productive foundation, like your brain is god! |

no way. Jesus is my hero to. Though I'm not sure if he's #1 on the list. Cthulhu has to be the #1 evil. God is definately #2. With JEsus a close 3rd. Hitler a very close 4th.
