Thanks oh musclebound one. As it turned out I actually dropped one place, but there's another tournament for individual ranking coming up later this month and I intend to kick some serious butt there. I train almost daily with one of my teammates, and I keep on getting better and better at the game... I even threw a fourteen darter the other day (which boils down to a 107!! points per turn average).
To make this thread a bit less narcisistic and a bit more informative I provide this cool darts training program. It's on a dutch website, but the link for download is easily recognizable at the top of the page, and in all likelyhood it can be installed to run in english. It allows you to train against a virtual opponent (with a handy slider to finetune it's 3-dart average), it'll keep track of your personal statistics, and much much more.

EDIT: oops as it turns out that program is dutch only (mind you, so much english terminology is used that it's not impossible to work with)
So here's a link where an english darts-trainer IS available.

Here's to lovely legs. Enjoy. _________________ ~ Let us be reasonable ~

I think that a pint of beer is supposed to work as a counter-balance. _________________ Namaste,

The tournament last saturday went pretty well. No trophies this time (I ended up in the winners-round with the stiffer competition, and stranded on my second opponent there), but I did get my first 180 into the books, and in this season's individual ranking I rose from eighth place to the number six spot. _________________ ~ Let us be reasonable ~
