Thread moved, and edited for clarification. "Debate Request" now added to the thread title.

I think I like these rules:

    Opening statement - Romans
    Opening statement - Mr_C
6 Rounds (Romans you go first.)
Q&A - 1 Question post each and one Answer post each, with a maximum of 20 questions per. (I'll go first since you're going to kick off the 1st round)
    Closing Statements - Romans
    Closing Statements - Mr_C

As for a time limit, I think 1 week is long enough.

What do you think?

I have my reply posted. I have been up since 5:30 this morning and I was just able to finish responding to Mr._C opening statement. I have realized with every round as each of us make two or three points to counter the others argument the material to be responded to is going to grow exponentially. I propose if all parties agree to modify the terms from a standard debate format to a format more conducive to written word rather than spoken. I suggest we extend the debate and take things slower. We are argue and respond to one argument at a time (for example Mr._C argued that the Gospels are a "Mid-rash" - I would have loved to taken more time to research and argue this point but in the face of so much other material and staying within the time requirement I didn't feel free to do so. However if we just argued that one point and the peanut Gallary weighed in on how just how convincing that one point was and then we move on to another point I think much more productive discussion would ensue. If you guys are in favor of keeping things as they are I will do my best to keep up. My suggested round would be Mr._C summarizing the point he thinks I'm making and countering it. I would then respond to his points. He would counter my counter points. we would each make closing argument. The gallery would weigh in on the argument. I would summarize one of Mr._C's arguments and the proccess would start over.

I have nothing new to add to my argument and I am willing to let my opponants rebuttle stand uncontested. If Mr._C is willing I am requesting we forgo the last two rounds and move into the question phase.
