Give a hundred buck to Ron Paul tomorrow. A Paul administration will not pander to the religious right and will uphold the constitution. _________________ "Bruno answered the sentence of death by fire with the threatening: "Perhaps you, my judges, pronounce this sentence against me with greater fear than I receive it." While I can live with Ron Paul, I prefer Gore, then Kucinich, and then Edwards.
We'll see who is up for the actual election next November before I reevaluate again. _________________ Kimberly (HSBUH) aka

Thank you for your thoughtful reply, and yes I agree with you that we should reevaluate or choices again around the time of the general election. While Paul is not a perfect candidate the advantage he brings to the table are correct views of the roles of the federal government and indeed of the very definition of a federal republic. His views as a strict constructionist regarding the Constitution if enacted in executive policy would restore the United States of America back to what it should be, a federation of independent free Sovereign States.

Cheers to that. Let's hope his increasing momentum lasts. He might actually have a chance. I remember when he first announced his candidacy. I thought he'd never make it past interviews in college dorm rooms. _________________ "There is too little love in the world to devote any of it to an imaginary being."-Nietzsche

Because I like Edwards, and the fact he wanted to fight on 3 years ago when Kerrey bowed out.
Edwards might have a shot at balancing labor unions with corporations, and health care with insurance. He's the guy health insurance corporations seem to fear the most because he has a chance and desire to change the way they do business. He's also proven he can do whatever needs to be done in the face of personal tragedy.
I hope he beats Hillary in the Primaries; I really think he can beat the Republicans and make a difference.
Still, I want Gore first and foremost. And my views currently match up closest with Kucinich after Gore. _________________ Kimberly (HSBUH) aka

Kucinich is leading a vote to impeach Cheney later today. Works for me. _________________ Kimberly (HSBUH) aka

I did it, has anyone else?
I think it would be a good idea to have one of these per month. It's only 8:38a.m. where I am, and I'm looking at Ron Pauls funds calculator... and it's already at 4.1 million.

Someone at lewrockwell.com found out that the all-time record for single-day fundraising during the primary season is $2.3 million.
No sources cited, but if he's right Ron Paul is around 200K short of breaking that record, with a good chunk of the day still left. _________________

As of 2:04 pm est Ron Paul is now over 5.2 Million (clearing the mark set last quarter).
1.1 million in 6 hours. _________________ “Here, here's American Gladiators. Watch this, shut up, go back to bed America, here is American Gladiators, here is 56 channels of it! It's actually 3.1 million in one day for the record. Romney raised that (probably via the mormon church). _________________ aa #51, DNRC o-, Member of the [H]orde

Well, with luck he'll beat that too. _________________
