I don't know where it's originally from, but here's a place to find it:

At first I just thought of George Carlin because he uses that phrase in one of his acts.
But then YOU had to come along and complain about the actual song and now its stuck in MY head, too! Thanks a lot, asshole!
I really, really really hate 99% of christmas carols. Loath and despise. The only time I can halfway enjoy them is when its instrumental without lyrics.
Why are we all forced to listen to the same 12 songs every December over and over and over and over again? Someone needs to write some new christmas carols that don't suck so much, although the last time they tried that (thinking of Jingle Bell Rock) they failed miserably and created a song I think I hate even more than the original. (Now that I think about it, I think I hate jingle bell rock infinitely more than jingle bells). _________________ "There's a new sheriff in town, and he's dedicated to fiscal discipline"

Just find an instrumental jazz, bossa, blues, or classical version of whatever shit carol is stuck in your head so that its at least bearable That's what I try to do.
All my life my mom has had this rule that during the month of december christmas carols have to be playing in the house at all times ( ). Thank god I don't live there anymore, but when I did I'd do my best to slip the least offensive versions of the most common carols on the top of the CD pile next to the music player. Even gave my mom a set of classical and jazz carol CDs one year. _________________ "There's a new sheriff in town, and he's dedicated to fiscal discipline"
