Yes, it is for the child as well as an Einstein. Discuss with me Brahman and Dark Matter, chaos and probability. Much better than the Abrahamic Gods and their books. A society contains all types of people. Hinduism suits all.

Aupmanyav - it was just a joke for the thread title "Piss of a Hindu".

Flamer means homosexual. In the game Team Fortress 2, the Flamer is a flamethrower using pyromaniac, and if you check his locker, there is a joke making him to be homosexual due to the contents of his locker.

So what is great about that? I also have found a way out of it. This whole universe is made up of energy (we call it Brahman). There is a constant interchange/interference of energy, which we see as atoms going into the body and going out of the body. The sum total remains the same. Aupmanyav has arisen from this sum total, Aupmanyav will subside in this sum total. That is why Geeta said 'There was never a time when you were not present. There will never be a time when you will not be present'. We are star material. We were born when the universe was born, we will be there till the universe is there. Where is death? Where is rebirth? Hindu books explain it in this way:

"Purnamadah, Purnamidam, Purnat Purnamudachyate;
Purnasya Purnamadaya, Purnameva Vasishyate."

(That is whole, this is whole, from that whole this whole came;
From that whole, this whole removed, what remains is whole.)

That: All things that we call 'that', e.g., 'that' galaxy.
This: All things that we call 'this', e.g., 'this' body.

(Shantipatha, Invocatory verse of Ishavasya Upanishad. Incidently this is the smallest Upanishad, just eighteen verses.)

Chubz forgets Krishna's eight principal wives and 16,000 other (though they say 16,000 are not his wives but attributes). Smile

Nah, I know about Krishna and his wives, I've read the Bhagavad Gita and much about Hindu beliefs online, but I still think he's a flamer. He just hasn't come out of the closet. He probably has love affairs with his cows too.

Wow, what a pretty boy....At least he doesn't seem so angry like the biblical Jesus (though I've found non-biblical accounts that depict Jesus in a more favorable light, even as a vegetarian.)

They say what you see actually depicts youself. A flamer also is Brahman, a flamer too is Krishna. There is nothing other than Krishna in the universe. You are Krishna, I am Krishna. Just as he said in Geeta, 'There is nothing in which I do not exist, there is nothing that does not exist in me'.

Paramahansa Yogananda also critizises classic Indian scriptures too, not just the bible.

"I once asked the master if, during the classes that I was giving for new monks, it would be alright to include a few stories from the life of Krishna. To my suprise, he replied cautiously.

"It's alright to tell them a few of those stories," he said, "but be careful to choose only those with a clear message. The stories of Krishna -- especially those of his boyhood in Brindaban -- are allegorical. They have been greatly misunderstood by Westerners, and by many Indians as well. Westerners, especially, when reading them, think the gopis were ordinary young women enjoying the emotion of human love. Actually, the gopis were reincarnated rishis (sages). They took birth to show, allegorically, the soul's relationship with the diving Beloved. There was nothing sensual or impure in that relationship. Worldly people, when they hear those stories, project onto them their own sensual or selfish tendencies. The reality wasn't like that at all.

"Those stories were intended to win people away from lust and desire. Therefore I say, Be careful how you present them to your classes."

You would do what your nature and understanding dictates.
