530 million years ago? The Earth's been around that long?

| the bible say a day for God is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. for God time doesnt work like that he could of made the earth on day and then hung out for a billion more until he made anything else |

And how does relative dating measure "seconds" if it's relative?

I don't remember reading that god hung out for a billion years in the Bible. I thought that it took him 7 days (a day is like a thousand years; 7 times 1000 = 7000 years). Does being a Christian allow you the privilege of establishing "facts" about god?

So then, you determine which phrases you perceive as being "accurate" and then twist the rest to fit into whatever meaning you choose to decipher from it? Oh, sorry. Then god tells you how to twist his words into whatever meaning he chooses for you to decipher from it?

The Jews were "like ohh" and they're still around. Because Jesus doesn't even come close to fulfilling Jewish prophecy.

Wow. Thanks for such a scientific approach as to why you believe in Christianity. With evidence like this, how could anyone believe otherwise? God. The freethinking world must be made up of complete stupid fucks to have missed this.

Gosh, sorry to offend such an astute individual. FYI, most atheists don't get upset, they get frustrated. People, such as yourself, have only read the Bible as your source of information. Most people such as yourself, has never taken the time to read about the actual history of Christianity, and those who have, rarely will look at books written by non-christians. The information that the majority of you have used is based on what you were taught by people you trust (your christian family, your christian friends, your ministers), by what you have read in the Bible, and by what you have perceived as "god" speaking to you. None of it is based on evidence, fact, or rational thought. You choose to believe because it has been programmed into you to believe. In other words, you are brainwashed. Atheists see this behavior every day. And most of who they see are so far gone, the believers refuse to take the time to look at the actual evidence against their belief. The odds are overwhelming that you will fit into this mold. Clear enough?
