I haven't watched since the first season. But one thing always made me wonder...supposedly we're watching this guy every minute of every hour of a 24 hour day, right? So.....does the guy ever take a dump? A shower? Sit down at Denny's for a burger? Even Superman found a few minutes to put on some glasses and sit at the lunch counter. What? This guy has no bodily functions?
| Quote: | Same thing happened to me with the Sopranos after the third season or so. By the time they came back from their 12 year break between seasons I didn't have HBO anymore. |
You're the lucky one, BATM. The Sopranos now runs with the standard Soap Opera Dramatic music and sound effects (dun, dun, DUNNNNNN!) The entire last season was a love story....with Vito no less, the tenth or twelfth listed star. The reruns are on A&E for crissakes. I swear, its gotten so bad that each episode should end with the voice-over guy breathlessly shouting "Will anything interesting happen? Will Johnny Cakes wear black to mourn Vito? Will Tony eat all the gabagool and not leave any for anyone else?! Tune in next week for the thrilling conclusion!!!"
...oh yeah. How disconcerting is it to have the next season start and pretend its like a week later in the story line, except AJ was 12 last season, and now he's like 26, smokes 2 packs a day, has a NAVY tattoo and works graveyard shift as a longshoreman. And Meadow was 14, and now she has like 3 kids. Yeah...not much for the continuity. I think the last 3 seasons have taken a good 5-6 years to air? _________________

Except for part of the first season, I find this show pretty damn dull. People must have nothing else to do. _________________ Born-again atheists

Sweet! How do I become one of these "subtle spambots"? Do I get to wear a utility belt? I'm quite good with lasers and algorithms. |

It posted in blue text to hide hyperlinks to several crappy sites, as well as having a spam site in its sig. That boosts the google index of all of the spam sites. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

I do remember wondering what was up with the blue text, and why only part of it was a hyperlink. I didn't look down to see where the link was pointed to though. _________________ "If we long to believe that the stars rise and set for us, that we are the reason there is a Universe, does science do us a disservice in deflating our conceits?"

You don't have to be coherent and interesting, as long as you keep that cool dancing dude as your avatar. |
