I'm just glad that Jared Leto got waxed.

Excuse me... i have to go return some video tapes.
Goddamn, i love the dialog and quotes from this movie:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0144084/quotes
Patrick Bateman: Ask me a question.
Daisy: What do you do?
Patrick Bateman: I'm into... well murders and executions mostly.
Daisy: Do you like it?
Patrick Bateman: It depends. Why?
Daisy: Because most guys I know who work with mergers and acquisitions really don't like it. _________________ -=The Believer is Happy; the Skeptic is Wise=-

That's a fantastic movie. It's one of the best dark, twisted movies I can think of. Kind of like The Shining or Falling Down where a fairly regular guy just slowly drifts into madness.
On a side note, I heard a radio interview with Christian Bale just recently, and I had never realized before that he was British. His natural accent is very British. He does American and/or yuppie accents so well, it really surprised me to hear that. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

I was also pretty surprised when I found out he was not American. I had no idea until I saw him on the MTV Movie Awards a few months ago! One of the weirdest things about that movie is his obsession with music and the way he broke it down right before he went postal. Another thing that made that movie so creepy was how casual and open he was about his activities, but all his friends were so shallow and distant that they weren't even listening to him.
| Quote: | Patrick Bateman: I don't think we should see each other any more.
Evelyn Williams: Why? What's wrong?
Patrick Bateman: I need to engage in homicidal behaviour on a massive scale. It can not be corrected but I have no other way to fulfill my needs. |

If I was that big a fan of Phil Collins, Huey Lewis & the News (well, actually they were ok), and Whitney Houston I'd probably have to kill a lot of people, too. It was funny, he was trying to get caught or get help but nobody noticed or believed him.

Christian Bale has played the asshole role better than anyone in the past 5 years.
Shaft : Racist Asshole
Equilibrium : Emotionless Asshole
I could've sworn that one time I saw him play Jesus. That's enough asshole for a century.
And yes, people like Batman more because he's just a regular human.
But I was dissappointed with some parts of Batman Begins.
For one thing if the detectives in Gotham tried hard enough they could easily figure out who Batman is.
The chase scene is one. It was broadcast all over Gotham, when you see Bruce watching it on TV.
Now, just think for a moment how many people probably worked on creating the tumbler, before Bruce got his hands on it.
They would obviously recognise the design, and since Wayne Enterprises designed it, it would eventually lead to a recall of all tumblers in existence.
If I'm not mistaken I'm sure that the tumbler in Lucius Fox's possession was a registered model, so the trail would lead back to him and then to the person he loaned it to.
None other than Bruce Wayne.
And Christian Bale doesn't hold a candle to Dexter played by Michael C. Hall.
He's my fictional serial killer of the year.
And Dexter is my favorite TV series of the year. |

Michael C. Hall is an awesome actor. He played the gay undertaker in Six Feet Under, which is the best TV series EVER. Did anyone see Bale in The Machinist?
BarkAtTheMoon, what's so bad about Genesis? |

THAT is what i want my body to look like eventually. _________________ -=The Believer is Happy; the Skeptic is Wise=-
