Did anyone catch the Live Earth Concerts on 7-7-07?

Roger Waters was good. I liked the floating Pig (Pigs on a Wing)!

You lucky bastard! I saw Metallica back in 04 when they came to Houston. Really awesome show. I stay the hell away from the mosh pit at any hard rock show, though. It's the only time I don't mind almost needing binoculars. I almost got caught up in one at the Def Tones concert a few weeks back, since that particular venue was general admission/standing room only. Some scary shit right there. Things turn ugly real quick and I almost got punched in the face. Sad

Wish I could have seen Waters play. Sad

I would like to see some figures on how much the live earth concerts cost in pollution with all the power that was used during the concerts and in making all the preparations and ofcourse all the items they used etc. And compare that to how much less ppl pollute after seeing it.

I think this would go way in the red. Kind of hypocritical(sp?).
