| I ran across this site a little bit ago and found the simple "Thank You ___" t shirts very interesting. I think I would like to attend a few of these events and see the real birthplace of my country. Jamestown 1607-2007 |

I was there last year, before the celebration. I hope to make it down this year. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

That area makes for a great vacation. Tons of history in Williamsburg and Jamestown with a day at Busch Gardens Europe. Haven't been down there in a number of years now, though. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

Just rummaging through old threads. Now I don't want to appear all uppity, but one of my ancestors sons was one of the first to die in Jamestown. 16 years old, died of an indian arrow. Bastard indians!
Anyway, I long for the day some old broad mentions that her ancestors came over on the Mayflower so I can tell her "shit, I beat you by 13 years beeaaitch." _________________ Its not that I question so much whether a god created man, but that he would admit it.- Thomas Brumfield

It was worth recycling this thread just for the Dave T-shirts. _________________ The path of least resistance and least trouble is a mental rut already made. It requires troublesome work to undertake the alternation of old beliefs.
