Let's not and say we did. Sorry...I'm tired of pretending. |
Making an assumption for the sake of argument can be a useful thing to do once in a while. |
I agree and you do have a point with the rest of your post, but once you get past the redundancy of the what if's and the maybe's ....it all goes back to the same questions and the same answer. It's like having a series of rotating questions, but the answer never changes and everything only ends in circles. When you bypass the idea of god, you realize that life is much more complex and interesting than anything limited by some ancient fairy tale.
If we're going to make assumptions, let's start with a more plausible, productive foundation, like your brain is god! |
Or maybe, just maybe...
All complex life is made of simpler life. For instance, our bodies are composed of differentiated cells, and our species (if you trace it back far enough) evolved from undifferentiated cells, which evolved from single cells, which evolved from bacteria, which evolved from proto-cells.
People by working together and diffentiating their labor are able to create complex societies and achieve more than any individual alone could. Our species has advanced knowledge beyond what any individual could discover, and advanced wealth beyond what individuals working alone could create.
Maybe God is what will happen when every single person is finally connected by the internet.
It will have an impact on what I choose to download. Apparently in addition to being fond of beetles, God is also fond of porn. _________________ Nos laetus edo qui votum opprimo nobis.

There's nothing more fundamentally interesting than the determination of a cell.
God's favorite song is "Imagine" and he's probably into beastiality...2x2 style. Either that or he's into snuff porn turning bitches into pillars of salt right after he comes. Now Jesus OTOH was a closet homosexual who took up carpentry as a masculine cover up, but we all know that he was surrounded by twelve men wearing tool belts running trains on that ass. _________________ This space is reserved for inarticulate meat puppets who have no true perspective outside the refuge of quotation marks.
