That is EXACTLY what I propose, and what I have proposed these many months...Nothing. Moloth is taking to heart the advice that I and others have offered and is choosing not to reply to you. It is his right to do so.
He does not have to reply to you. You do not have to reply to him. There is no need for the never-ending game of one-upsmanship. You may say anything you like. Moloth may say anything he likes. The balance...the beauty if you will...is that if one of you chooses to not engage the other directly, then a flame war can not develop, in spite of the best efforts of either party.
So "Nothing" is exactly what I propose, and I commend Moloth for his efforts in doing exactly that. Perhaps if you could suppress your own need to reply, rebut and refute every single comment, you too would notice a change in both overall atmosphere and the way you are personally perceived. |

I don't like to toot my own horn, so I am uncomfortable in pointing out to you that in the Science General Discussion and Physics & Cosmology, there are more threads started by me than anyone else. I know I haven't been very successful in getting people to be gong'ho on the subject. And I know science is not your forte, and unfortunately true for too many members of AF, but to say as some have said that there hasn't been any attempts to raise the bar on AF is a bit disingenuous. And in my case, I will try to do better... |
Joe, I don't mind anybody tooting their own horn.  Indeed you are one who has added to AF. Science is one of my loves but I am by no means an expert so I stay silent and just enjoy the links when they are available and I have time.
My list was only intended to mention the IG members that I enjoyed, not the Af members who joined later . Some IG members have said it was just nostalgia perhaps. I begged to differ and everybody I mentioned and some that I didn't or forgot, added to what was a very dynamic and enjoyable forum.
This is not to say that the AF forum hasn't had its' rise when it comes to substance but speaking for myself, it isn't in the same category as IG was. It may get there, many of us would like to add our efforts to help it be the success it was intended to be. By all means keep us supplied with good science!!! |

have you considered that you are able to ignore him because he has not targeted your threads/posts for trolling? or, perhaps, because others have taken that bullet (willingly or otherwise)? congrats to you for ignoring a problem. Your consideration for others is commendable. I find your 'out of sight, out of mind' attitude about this topic... distasteful |
He's targeted me multiple times, I just don't respond. I want to, but I know it won't do anything except give him more to work with, so I ignore him.

Moloth is not taking the advice to heart whatsoever, he is continually trash talking talking me, lying about me, provoking me and flaming me even in this very thread and that much was shown to you so I don't think you're in an intelligent position if you're defending moloth when he certainly isn't doing what you've claimed of him. Conversely, I don't go around this site pissing on moloth in nearly every thread- In fact, the only time I bring moloth up is when he is doing that to me.

Again, if you look above what you claim of moloth and his actions completely contradict one another. I always thought of you as a neutral fella but it's very obvious that you like to play favouritism these days. You can't eve notice that which falls outside of your bias, you don't have the grounds to lecture me on something you can't even comprehend. |
