Hey, I just started cruising around for an atheist forum as I'm starting to take great interest in the amount of religious influence found in the govt today and the impact it has on our lives. I want to learn more about any anti movement activities or partake in any intelligent friendly debates. Theres quite a few interesting topics here I'd like to look at so I will be on for quite awhile here.

you can hate bush and still be a conservative.
many conservatives feel bush let down the party.
who is your top candidate picks?
mine is ron paul, followed by miccain, then guiliani
and on the democratic side I like obama and can settle for edwards.
my least favorites are hillary and mitt romney.
(btw to anyone that may ask, no the fact that someone is my top pick doesn't mean I agree with them on X, Y or Z, it just means out of all the candidates they are my top picks.) |

Bush has indeed let down the party, I'm hoping for a strong candidate such as Ron Paul or Guiliani. Its odd I want either Ron Paul's libertarian ethics, or I want the powerful get things done type government that I think Guiliani would create. I'm sort of a libertarian fascist. I want forced free will

Hey, dude. Welcome
Personally, I'm sick of everytime someone says "President Bush" about 5 teenagers immediatly proclaim their hatred for him and their desire for him to become affected by tragic illnesses and for him to vacation(in forrest gump's daddy's style) to an imaginary place. The people I know don't even know why they hate bush, all they say is "because he's an asshole" Is that their way of being a "freethinker?" Spouting the same answer as everyone else?
