Ah, a nihlist Smile

It matters for many many reasons .. most of which were well covered already.

But I think one of the most important ones is this: We can only prove that we have this life to live. We may very well reincarnate, or there may be a heaven, I don't know. The only thing we know for sure is, that this is it. That means we have take this one moment, this one chance, and run wild with it. And you cannot do that when you are living under a fearful delusion that every move you make is worthy of judgment.

Basically, it matters because we don't want to waste our lives - and because we don't want others to squander theirs either.
