We play soft-tip. Nearly everyday, too. We usually play 701, 501, 301, or Cricket. Yesterday they introduced me to the game Scram, and I won [with my partner] the first game. It was sweet. A little competition update. The Dart Vaders have lost every match sofar *. Tonight we have to play against a team that plays one class higher.

The dartboard I bought turned out to be faulty. The way Winmau handled my complaint was fabulous, and a brandnew Diamond board will likely arive coming monday.
Winmau relies heavily on mouth to mouth advertisement so I think I should give them the thumbs up here.
By the way, I don't use the old brass hand-me-downs anymore. I use Andy's Hi Tec navigators these days (22 gr. barrel), which costed me a mere 35 euros. Great value for money; usually darts of that quality cost almost double that amount.
My current HDC (the local amateur league) ranking is fifth. Not too shabby considering I've only been throwing seriously for some nine months now. _________________ ~ Let us be reasonable ~

Whoa!!! What's that all about. I thought the DV's were fall guys. Where are you in the standings?
This is local amateur league mind you. There are two divisions of teams, so let's just call those minor and major league. The Dart Vaders are a new team so we're starting off as a minor league team. There are eight minor league teams involved, and after an initial losing streak we've wrestled our way up to the no.5 spot. Apart from that there are also tournaments where players can establish an individual ranking... some 30 players are involved sofar, and I currently share the no5 spot with 3 other players. Woot! Won my first trophy during a individual ranking tournament. Third runner up. I'll have to wait and see how much that'll boost my individual ranking. My previous standing was seventh.
By the way:
If you have a dartprogram on the PC maybe you can share your 3-dart average to show off the level you're at.
Me? Last time I checked I throw some 45 points per turn on average. When I'm on fire that can rise to an average of 60+ _________________ ~ Let us be reasonable ~
