I believe that since the thread is titled "Debate Request" most people are thinking this thread is simply setting the parameters and providing information. In fact, I think Cheap said that a few posts up. I think people are expecting a dedicated This-is-the-actual-debate thread that they will respectfully abstain from posting in.
That's the feeling I'm getting anyway. Perhaps you should start the dedicated thread for privacy's sake. |

My argument is that I don't know what did hit the pentagon. I think I can deductively eliminate the possibility that what hit the pentagon was a plane the size they claim, and provide some evidence that suggests that a cruise missile or some kind of smaller air craft with explosives on board was used.

But this is part of the problem with arguing about a conspiracy theory. If you're just going to say any evidence against the conspiracy was just manufactured by the people involved in the conspiracy, we might as well not even bother with this discussion. Well, I think I can show how only a couple frames worth of that video shows that it most likely was a large aircraft. If you want to argue how little it shows, then that should be a good point of discussion, but if you're just going to say the released frames were doctored or completely manufactured by the government, unless you can prove that claim, we'll just end up going in circles.
As far as fallacies go, the point was to keep insults, ad homs, and such out of this debate and keep this based on the evidence, no? I hope we're both mature enough to be able to keep this relatively friendly without heavy-handed moderation on our own. I have no problem with your response below about PMing the mod for a ruling on a specific issue and highlighting the issue.

That's close enough. I'm not sure I've seen anything about all this: "making a curious detour to the north, west and south, " but I don't think that really affects the argument.
