Alright boys and girls. I'm starting to write up my first post. Thanks for your patience, but I had a stroke of divine inspiration last night and figured out my opening post so I'm glad I waited...well, actually I just thought about it when I was trying to go to sleep and hashed it out. I should have it up by end of day today. I think it'll be pretty good. It's primarily my own ideas and arguments, nothing I've seen on other sites, so I'd love to hear what everyone thinks. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

Shit. Debate over. That was pretty good, man. I think there were a few informal fallacies and some "filler", but the meat of your points was rock-solid.
Well done, and nice approach. _________________ "If we long to believe that the stars rise and set for us, that we are the reason there is a Universe, does science do us a disservice in deflating our conceits?"

well, if the main point of the debate was the plane/thing that hit the pentagon, the only thing Lumpy can throw out there is "I will also offer a working speculative hypothesis that more closely fits the physical evidence that exists, pooling together eyewitness testimony, evidence (or lack thereof) at the crash site, and expand on what we can and cannot deduce from this speculation. "
so... Bark's photos of jet engine parts VS. lumpy's "lack of stuff" as proof of a conspiracy.

Thanks for the comments, guys.
Mr. C, do you have any specific examples of fallacies in there? I'm sure you're probably right, it's hard to keep track of all the informal ones. Damnit, I knew I should've just gone ahead and brought up Hitler. I tried to make sure all the declarative statements I made were supported by the evidence and basic common sense, wordy though it may have been. Next time I'm going with the single plane theory.
Oh and...
